Relationship
Relationship satisfaction describes the quality of a dating, engaged, or marriage relationship. A relationship’s quality depends on how a person’s deep longings are discussed and validated by their partner. Most people understand that no one can complete the other (as popularized in the movie Jerry Maguire). Still, a relationship offers the best opportunity to love someone richly and be loved extravagantly. The deep longings of a man or a woman are not a mystery or to be feared. No one is responsible for the happiness of another person. God is more than enough to fulfill these longings, but often they are rarely discussed because they are deeply personal.
The Relationship Assessment uses thirteen statements to measure relationship satisfaction, such as I treat my spouse as an equal partner. My spouse treats me as an equal partner. The Report gives a side by side comparison of the man’s and woman’s views about themselves and each other regarding their relationship. Relationship satisfaction describes the quality of dating, engaged, or marriage relationships. The Report covers the most significant areas that influence the quality of a relationship. The thirteen statements will read boy/girlfriend for dating couples, fiancé for engaged couples, and spouse for married couples.
The Report validates areas of engagement as Agreement or Improvement Needed.
