Team DISC (Team Member and Supervisor)
The Team DISC is a behavioral assessment tool that helps organizations to become more aware of the relationships between employees/staff and supervisors. Participants will find that the Team DISC identifies what is good, unique, and empowering in each person’s life. Organizations will be able to identify these unique personal characteristics to develop strategies for better communication and conflict resolution between team members and supervisors.
The Team DISC helps organizations to celebrate each person as unique, unrepeatable miracles of God. Even though people are wonderful assets, everyone struggles with their human bents of impatience, selfishness, conflict avoidance and self-centeredness. The Team DISC also helps each person identify behavioral extremes that can affect relationship dynamics and job responsibilities in negative ways. Each personality type prefers a style of conflict resolution that may not create an inviting environment between team members or supervisors.
The Team DISC is made up of twenty-eight sets of words. Each set contains four words. Participants will choose one word that best and least describes them. The four personality types of the Team DISC include: Dominance, Influence, Steady and Conscientious. These personality types are uniquely positive and beneficial in workplace relationships and team dynamics.
The Team DISC will generate a side-by-side graph and report that allows the supervisors to see how the staff member/employee view him/herself and their supervisor.
