Emotional Honesty Report—LIMRI
Emotional honesty is an essential characteristic of relationship satisfaction in dating, engaged, and married relationships. A couple that can disagree with each other yet remain respectful will have an exceptional relationship. An emotionally honest relationship values their differences and preferences.
The Emotionally Honesty Report uses eleven statements from a wide range of subjects like spiritual life, conflict resolution, finances, and communication. The report will give a side by side comparison of the man’s and woman’s self-views and their views of each other that will validate areas of engagement as Agreement or Improvement Needed.
The report also includes:
- Strength worksheets that help couples to celebrate their agreement (strengths).
- Improvement needed worksheets that guide couples to enrich their emotional honesty in multiple areas of a relationship.
- All worksheets use Scriptures, Principles, Discussion Questions, and Practical Applications.
- Growth Plans are devotionals that help couples begin their journey of enrichment.
A couple may think or approach things differently, but respect is the goal. Differences are very typical when there are two thoughtful and confident people in a relationship. The key is being able to share differences in non-threatening ways and avoid more emotionally charged conflicts. Couples who read the Scriptures and pray for godly wisdom will have disagreements and value things differently. Still, they can also make the efforts needed for mutually beneficial outcomes for each other.
