Do You Have What It Takes to Resolve Conflicts In Your Relationship?

by Ron Hitchcock | Jul 13, 2014 | Ron's Blog

1. Focus on solutions rather than problems.

2. Focus on the person rather than his/her emotions.

3. Getting your point across in a respectful way.

4. Use Active Listening – repeating back what the other person said, I hear you saying…

5. Stay on the subject: Avoid rabbit trails.

6. Pray, ask for wisdom before trying to resolve conflict.

7. Communicate your commitment to the other person before resolving conflicts.
